EA celebrated FIFA 23‘s first 23 days after launch by releasing record-breaking post-launch engagement numbers, garnering a total of 10.3 million players within the first week – the biggest launch period in EA Sports FIFA franchise history.

Over 1.7 billion games, including FUT Moments, have been played with over 4.3 billion goals scored. In terms of minutes played, over 15.7 billion playing minutes have been recorded, the equivalent of almost 30,000 years of gameplay.

In other numbers, global cover star Sam Kerr’s Chelsea Women has been the most selected women’s football team within FIFA 23, with Manchester City being the top choice for men’s clubs. Manchester
City were also the most popular match up playing against Paris Saint-Germain.

Some other random FIFA 23 stats include the “Griddy” being the most used celebration, followed by the “Knee Slide” and “Pickup the ball out of the net.”

FIFA 23 is scheduled to release on September 30, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Switch, and PC.
