Reports show that a PS5 games showcase may happen as early as next week
Sony has been silent for the longest time about any info on the PS5, but if reports hold true, an event may happen sometime next week.
A report by Bloomberg headed by Jason Schreier and Takashi Mochizuki states that “The virtual event could be held June 3, though some people also cautioned that plans have been in flux and that the date may change. Other PlayStation 5 events may follow in the coming weeks and months, and Sony is not expected to reveal every essential detail on the console during its first presentation.”
Sony has refused to comment about this matter as per Bloomberg.
In short, the showcase should be geared towards featuring next generation titles over the console itself. It’s something, at least, and coincides with previous reports from last week saying that the event could happen in the next 2-3 weeks.
We’re almost there folks, just a little bit longer now…
