9 more games will take advantage of the Xbox Series X Smart Delivery feature
Microsoft just held its first Xbox 20/20 episode which showed a lot of new gameplay footage from numerous titles that are coming to the system during and after launch.
The key takeaway, however, was not the actual gameplay nor the titles but the number of titles that will be featuring Smart Delivery, one of the best features that the Xbox Series X has to offer.
Smart Delivery, in a nutshell, will allow players to play certain games on their current Xbox One and transition to the Series X without having to purchase the same title for the Series X hardware. It’s a brilliant idea, one that is very pro-consumer and something we hope Sony picks up on as well for the PS5.
Cyberpunk 2077 will have it, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla will have it, and now a host of other titles will be sporting the feature as well based on the reveals earlier. See the full list below:
- Dirt 5
- Madden 21
- Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2
- Call of the Sea
- Chorus
- Second Extinction
- The Ascent
- Scarlet Nexus
- Yakuza: Like a Dragon
You can also expect all Xbox exclusive games like Halo Infinite to have this feature moving forward.
Xbox makes the first move and while the show as a whole was pretty so-so, fans and gamers alike should be ecstatic at the potential that Smart Delivery will bring for the next generation.
