Ubisoft’s Hyper Scape will launch on August 11 for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Starting August 11, the latest Battle Royale title from Ubisoft will be launching for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Hyper Scape is currently in open beta for the PC and will open to a much wider audience shortly after open beta ends on August 2.

Announcement of the first season entitled “The First Principle” comes with a trailer, which you can view below:

Season One kick-starts the overarching Hyper Scape narrative: There is a mystery in the Hyper Scape created by Prisma Dimensions that players will have to solve. Season One introduces Memory Shards that players can collect to discover more about certain characters and events. Every week, a new Memory Shard will be hidden in the game world, for players to find and collect. In addition to Memory Shards, comics will be released during Season One and following Seasons, building Hyper Scape’s story.

Along with the console launch, Hyper Scape will be offering cross-progression on all platforms, allowing players to pick up right where they left off from the open beta. Hyper Scape will also introduce a brand new mid-range weapon, the Dragonfly, as well as a new hack, Magnet, which can be used to trap unsuspecting contenders.

The first Battle Pass will also be available and will include a ton of customization items through a free and premium track, which will cost 950 Bitcrowns, the in-game currency.
