Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls install sizes revealed
The install sizes for Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls have been revealed, and both titles will immediately take up a sizeable chunk of the 825GB SSD of the PlayStation 5.
As more and more details about the PlayStation 5 are being revealed after its big showcase, some of its launch titles are taking the spotlight, specifically first party exclusives such as Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls.
As seen from their respective PlayStation Direct pages, both games will take up at least 110GB right away from your hard drive.
Demon’s Souls will take up 66GB minimum while Spider-Man: Miles Morales will take up 50GB. If you choose to go with the Ultimate Edition, which includes the remastered version of the PlayStation 4 Spider-Man game, then it shoots up to a whopping 105GB minimum. That’s 1/8 of your hard drive space gone with just 2 games.
For comparison, the PlayStation 4 Spider-Man game comes to about 45GB with its vanilla version, going up to around 75GB with all DLC installed, so that 50GB size that the remastered game comes with is not too bad, considering the improved textures that comes with it.
Both Spider-Man: Miles Morales and Demon’s Souls will be launch titles for the PlayStation 5 when it releases on November 12 in selected territories and November 19 worldwide.
