The September PlayStation 5 showcase was highly anticipated, and for good reason. Not only was there some really BIG announcements, the pricing and release details of the PlayStation 5 have also finally been revealed, coming in at $499 and $399 for the Standard and Digital edition respectively.

To recap, here’s everything that was shown during the showcase:

Final Fantasy XVI announced as a PS5 Console Exclusive

Yes, you read that right, Console Exclusive.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales Gameplay

Additionally, the original Spider-Man on the PS4 will be available in remastered fashion from the Spider-Man: Miles Morales Ultimate Edition.

PlayStation Plus Collection Introduction

According to the PlayStation Blog, “PS5 owners with PS Plus will be able to download and play a curated library of PS4 games that defined the generation, like Batman Arkham Knight, Bloodborne, Fallout 4, God of War, Monster Hunter: World, Persona 5 and many more. The PS Plus Collection will be an added benefit to the existing PS4 benefits that PS Plus members receive for a single subscription price.”

PlayStation 5 Pricing Details

Sony has announced that the PlayStation 5 will be priced at $499 (around PHP25,000) for the Standard Edition and $399 around PHP20,000) for the Digital Edition. Both editions will release on November 12 in selected territories (US, Canada, Mexico, Australia, New Zealand, Japan, and South Korea) and November 19 worldwide.

God of War Sequel Teaser

Nobody saw this coming, and it may be entitled God of War Ragnarok.
