Ubisoft outlines all next-gen upgrades for their games

Ubisoft is in a great position to enter the next-generation with all guns firing. Given that most of their upcoming titles have release dates on or within the release window of the PlayStation 5 and the Xbox Series, these games will surely be getting some serious mileage in a somewhat thin release lineup for both next-gen consoles.

Earlier today, Ubisoft had released more information about their current and upcoming games, with specific detail as to how each title will run on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. Twitter user Shinobi602 has thankfully compiled each one into an easy to read format.

Simply put, almost all of Ubisoft’s titles will be playing at an eye watering 4K 60fps setting, save for Watch Dogs: Legion, which will run at 30fps with Ray Tracing. It could very well be possible that a future option to hit 60fps but disable Ray Tracing is implemented in a patch, so we wouldn’t discount this possibility.

That said, if you’re looking for some eye candy, then the next-gen consoles should be the way to go, if it wasn’t obvious yet. Otherwise, your current-gen consoles will still provide an immersive experience that is still serviceable.
