Every year, Pornhub reveals its “Year In Review” infographics, which show very interesting statistics on how users interact with their website, including console gamers.

You can see the full review HERE (we already did so you don’t have to) and it shows some intriguing results, especially for console gamers.

Console Gamers Statistics Breakdown

First off, here are the stats:

Breaking it down on a per console basis, the PS Vita and Nintendo Wii U and 3DS (the 3DS???) have mostly fallen off the grid, making up a very small segment of the whole pie (not THAT pie). Xbox users make up 36.8% while PlayStation users account for 60.6% of total traffic to the site from console gamers. As part of the millions of console gamers around the world, I’ve never thought of actually going to the site from these $500 machines, but I’m guessing a lot of owners either have their own place or their own rooms to actually pull off this feat.

As for searches, it gets a bit more interesting! For the most searched video game category, rounding up the top 5 are Fortnite, Minecraft, Overwatch, Pokemon, and Brawl Stars. There are other understandable titles in there like Genshin Impact, Resident Evil, and League of Legends because of the number of “waifus” in these games, but you also have some weird results in the form of Among Us, Five Nights At Freddy’s, and Pokemon (cmon man).

Moving on to the most searched video game characters, Lara Croft is unsurprisingly at number 1, with D.Va from Overwatch at number 2. Clocking in at number 3 is… Super Mario. I mean, what? Other notable character searches are Jill Valentine, Princess Peach, and Tifa Lockhart. Moving down the list, it’s quite amusing to see how the likes of Pikachu, Gardevoir, and ever Tiny Tina are there. You monsters.

On a side note, in some sort of twisted “Philippine Pride” moment, we see that Filipinos are heavy participants on the site. The Philippines ranks #9 in the world (8th in 2020) but also ranks first in time spent on the site per visit with 11.5 minutes. Whether that’s from their PlayStation or Xbox consoles, it just has to be said that there are a lot of horny people out there.

Even if you don’t actually interact with the site, it is quite interesting to see these figures from an analytical perspective. You’d think that most visits would come from mobile phones or PC’s but seeing PlayStation and Xbox there is quite funny, along with the other video game-related searches.
