Dying Light 2: Stay Human Goes Gold Ahead Of February 2022 Launch
Ahead of its launch next year, Dying Light 2: Stay Human has now officially hit gold as announced by Techland. This comes after a relatively long development cycle that led to a delay that was supposed to see the game launch this month.
Techland have expressed gratitude over the support of their fans throughout the years, saying that the time leading up to launch will be used to make sure that “we’ll deliver the best possible experience for you.”
Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektala shared that this is “The final and crucial moment for us. The game is ready to be manufactured, but we will not slow down. The fact that the game is done and we hit the gold status two months before the release is a great sign but it doesn’t mean that our work ends here. There are still some upgrades and tweaks to add, and community feedback to implement, but the base is solid and ready to play. I’m extremely proud of the whole team!”
Dying Light 2: Stay Human is scheduled for a February 4, 2022 release for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, PC, and Switch (Cloud Version).
