While Horizon Call of the Mountain took the spotlight in terms of Horizon updates during the recently concluded State of Play, Guerrilla Games snuck in a small announcement for Horizon Forbidden West, announcing a major update that adds a bunch of new features to the game.
As detailed on the PlayStation Blog, the game will be getting the following updates starting today:
- New Game+
- Ultra Hard Difficulty
- Transmog – Allows players to customize the cosmetics of their equipped outfit
- Skill points reset
- New trophies connected to NG+ and Ultra Hard Difficulty
Additionally, there’s also a new Herbalist vendor that sells animal parts along with improved visual fidelity of the PS5 performance mode using revamped anti-aliasing. An upcoming patch will also add VRR support and an additional 40fps mode.
