During a special Japanese live stream, Sega has announced that its next mini-console will be the Mega Drive Mini 2.

The upcoming mini-console will include 50 titles and the initial list of titles include:

• Silpheed
• Shining Force CD
• Sonic CD

Details are still scarce at the moment since the program is still ongoing, but its expected price is set at ¥9,980 (around $75 or PHP3,800). It is planned for a Japan launch on October 27 but a Western release has not been announced yet.
