Cyberpunk 2077 Only has One Planned Expansion, Says CDPR

CD Projekt Red has confirmed that the recently revealed expansion for Cyberpunk 2077, entitled Phantom Liberty, is the only planned expansion for the game.

The statement was published by CDPR on their support page, saying that it is “the only planned expansion” for the game. In case it flew over your head, Phantom Liberty will only release on current-gen devices (PS5, Xbox Series, PC, and Stadia), leaving previous-gen owners out due to “technologically challenging” reasons that would compromise the player experience.

The rest of the statement on the support page reiterates that the recently released 1.6 Edgerunners patch will also be the last update PS4 and Xbox One players will receive.

“after Patch 1.6 all further new content updates and improvements for Cyberpunk 2077 will be made exclusively for PC, Stadia, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.”
