Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that the PS5 and Xbox Series versions of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot are scheduled to release on January 12 and 13, 2022, respectively.

Players who already own the PS4 or Xbox One version can access the upgraded versions of the game to experience enhanced visuals and 60fps. PS4 version owners can upgrade to the PS5 version for a fee.

The company has also released a new gameplay video for the Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot DLC entitled “-BARDOCK- Alone Against Fate,” which is now available for the PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC

The trailer includes thrilling battles taking place on the planet of Kanassa and features the first glimpse of Bardock in action, showing off his super moves, attacks, voice lines, and much more.

A story trailer has also been released, which details the adventures of Goku’s father, Bardock, who serves as a member of Frieza’s planetary invasion force, as well as his and his companions’ fateful journey to Planet Vegeta.

Pre-orders for the current-gen versions of Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot are now available via Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia’s e-store.
