SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake is now available, and fans of the show will certainly be excited to play the latest title that features the lovable SpongeBob and other personalities in Bikini Bottom.

With its release, THQ Nordic and Purple Lamp went all out with the “BFF Edition,” which contains a lot of paraphernalia that’s made for the biggest fans of the popular show.

The SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake BFF Edition retails for $249.99 (around PHP 13,000), and unfortunately, it wasn’t made available locally in the Philippines. Upon opening up the box, you’ll get the following items:

A standard copy of the game
Cosmic Victory statue (25 centimeters / 9.8 inches)
Inflatable Patrick (50 centimeters / 19.7 inches)
BFF amulet with necklace
Set of four costume miniature bouncing balls
Set of four placemats

Overall, the BFF edition is quite pricey compared to other collectors editions of relatively bigger games on the market. While that is the case, it has to be said that the items here are of very good quality and will really appeal to fans of the hugely popular cartoon series.

Based on the amount and quality of the items alone, the SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake BFF Edition is certainly worth the price of admission, and while the game won’t appeal to everyone, fans of SpongeBob will want to look into getting their hands at this limited edition set.

To start, we have this lovely box that displays the vibrant and colorful key visual that features the many characters of the game. Oh, and did we mention that it also comes with a cardboard sleeve?

Upon opening, we’re greeted with a container that holds all of the paraphernalia. The container itself looks great, with SpongeBob prints all over, making for a great piece that looks fantastic as part of the whole collection.

First up, we have the base game (with a costume pack DLC code) included along with a certificate of authenticity. As you can see, only 11,000 units of the BFF Edition have been made, so it is definitely a collector’s item in every sense of the word.

Next up are the placemats. Made up of hard plastic with rubber stubs at the bottom to prevent them from slipping, these placemats have some SpongeBob scenes printed on them to keep with the theme. They’re quite small for actual dishes, but small plates made for kids will surely fit!

Also included in the SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake BFF Edition are four miniature bouncing balls that have a costumed SpongeBob mini-figure inside. It also comes with a display stand!

There’s also a lovely BFF amulet with a necklace that can open up to reveal both SpongeBob and Patrick!

One half of the highlights of the SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake BFF Edition is the 50cm inflatable Patrick Star. It’s huge, and you can see a Switch Pro Controller just for scale.

And of course, the other highlight of the SpongeBob SquarePants: The Cosmic Shake BFF Edition – the Cosmic victory statue. This 25cm figure looks really good and has great details that make it a great display among your many toys and figures.
