Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Launching in February 2024, Collector’s Edition Revealed

Square Enix has announced that Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is coming out on February 29, 2024, on PlayStation 5.

Alongside this announcement, a new trailer was revealed, showing off the new scenes and characters players can expect from the game, including a look at Cait Sith and Vincent.

We also get a glimpse of The Gold Saucer along with Chocobo breeding, and a first-look at the “Weapons” that inhabit the world.

A collector’s edition of Final Fantasy VII Rebirth has also been revealed and will contain many items such as the base game, a collectible steel book, digital content, and a beautiful Sephiroth statue. The Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Collector’s Edition will retail for $350 and is up for pre-order now at the NA Square Enix Store.

Here are the inclusions of the collector’s edition:

  • Deluxe Edition of the game
  • FINAL FANTASY VII REBIRTH STATIC ARTS – SEPHIROTH
    • Approx. 48cm / 19inch statue depicting the iconic antagonist Sephiroth in highly detailed sculpting. The wing can be detached.
  • Moogle Trio Summoning Materia (DLC)
    • A summoning materia that can call “Moogle Trio” in the game.
  • Magic Pot Summoning Materia (DLC)
    • A summoning materia that can call “Magic Pot” in the game.
  • Accessory: Reclaimant Choker (DLC)
    • A choker with an effect of restoring HP when an enemy is defeated.
  • Armor: Orchid Bracelet (DLC)
    • A bracelet that gives courage to traverse an expanding world.
  • Armor: Midgar Bangle Mk. II (DLC)
    • A bracelet worn by travelers leaving Midgar.
