SEGA, Atlus, and Vanillaware have announced Unicorn Overlord, an all-new tactical RPG that’s scheduled to release on March 8, 2024, for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch.

The game will feature innovative strategic battles, open exploration, and high-resolution graphics and characters with the trademark Vanillaware flair, along with a rich, immersive landscape and a distinctive battle system that incorporates elements hearkening back to the golden age of 16-bit gaming.

Alongside the game reveal, a Unicorn Overlord limited Monarch edition version of the game was also revealed, and it will include the following items:

• A special deluxe box designed by Vanillaware
• 16-bit arrangement album: Background music of the game arranged into 16-bit tracks by
  Basiscape (2 CDs)
• Artbook: Includes character illustrations, thematic concepts, preliminary designs and sketches,
  and more (132 pages)
• Original Card Game: A complete original card game for 2–4 players, designed by Vanillaware
• Physical Copy of Unicorn Overlord game

A Unicorn Overlord digital deluxe edition will also be available, and it will include:

• 16-bit arrangement album (DLC): Background music of the game arranged into 16-bit tracks by Basiscape
• Digital Artbook (DLC): Includes character illustrations, thematic concepts, preliminary designs and sketches, and more (132 pages)
• Base game

Additionally, the early purchase bonus has been revealed as well, which will include a Coat of Arms DLC that allows the player to customize their army’s banner with coats of arms based on Odin Sphere, Dragon’s Crown, and 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim.
