Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections is coming out… *checks notes* today! Fans of the series will once again get to play as their favorite characters because the game will feature over 130 ninjas, making it the biggest roster in the series yet.

Out of the game’s various editions, Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia is also coming out with a premium collector’s edition for the biggest fans out there that includes a bevy of goodies that will make even the toughest ninja smile.

The Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Premium Collector’s Edition retails for $199 (roughly around PHP 12,000) and is the most premium edition. It is available at your favorite retailers and even at the Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia store.

Here’s what you get with the Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Premium Collector’s Edition:

  • Base Game
  • 2 Figurines

Let’s Unbox the Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Premium Collector’s Edition

First up, we get the usual box that these editions come in. To be fair, the Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Premium Collector’s Edition is encased in a sturdy box draped in a vibrant blue color with a rather clean design showing Naruto and his many forms.

It’s a pretty slick-looking box!

Upon opening it, the first items that greet us will be the base game and the lovely-looking steelbook, which is perfect for collectors!

The DLCs, of course, are located inside, and you’ll be getting the season pass along with a ton of bonus costumes and accessories when you purchase the Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Premium Collector’s Edition.

If you’ve been wondering what the “reversible inlay” is, don’t worry; we wondered the same thing as well! As it turns out, the Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Premium Collector’s Edition comes with a reversible cover for the Blu-ray disc case, so you can flip it over if you’re tired of the default cover art.

Design-wise, it looks a bit too plain, but having an alternative is almost always a good thing.

Next up, the collectible cards! These are really surprising because the designs are pretty good, the quality is nice as well, and they even have a sort of holo effect to them.

I didn’t think I’d like the cards as much as I did, but they look fantastic!

One other item that surprised me is the exclusive scroll with art by Studio Pierrot. Encased in a sturdy box with a fantastic design, the scroll comes properly rolled up and tied along with a soft case.

The Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Premium Collector’s Edition wall scroll features a TON of characters in the series, and if you’re asking me how many characters there are, I’ll tell you right now that I did not bother to count. Based on how it looks, I probably would have wasted a lot of time because there are a lot of them!

It’s a very nice piece of art, to be quite honest, and I’m sure fans will appreciate this and possibly even have it framed because it looks fantastic.

Lastly, we have the Naruto and Sasuke figures.

This is an exclusive figurine set, dubbed the 20th Anime Anniversary Version, so fans would really want to get their hands on this one.

Upon opening up the box, we’re greeted with two separate plastic containers. To my surprise, the Naruto X Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections Premium Collector’s Edition figures needed assembly! I initially thought that they were already pre-built, so this was indeed surprising.

Each of the figures comes with a base, a stand, and separate parts that need to be merged together.

As you can see, they’re very easy to assemble, and it’ll take a minute or two at most to put the parts together. It’s almost impossible to put the parts the wrong way, so don’t worry about it too much!

And here’s both of them side by side.

The details on both are pretty nice, but if I had any gripe, it’s that their pose looks a bit unnatural and off-balanced. That said, the overall sculpt is quite good, and these figures are display-worthy.

Both figures are also ever so slightly flexible and won’t break or snap easily.

And lastly, here’s the full spread:

Naruto x Boruto Ultimate Ninja Storm Connections will be released on November 16 for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and Switch.
