Stellar Blade has launched to extremely positive reviews from both fans and critics, and for a debut outing from Shift Up, it really is impressive. The developers have added a New Game+ just in time for launch, despite previously saying that it would be added after, something that is surely appreciated by the fanbase.

Recently, in an interview with Korean outlet Nate (browser translated), CEO Kim Hyung-Tae mentioned that they have plans for more content in the future, one of which is a “Boss Challenge” mode.
Plans for future updates, such as downloadable content (DLC), have not yet been decided, but the ‘Boss Challenge’ mode is being planned.
While no details have been provided, the mode could include a way to repeatedly face off against these bosses, along with a way to challenge them in gauntlet mode. Additionally, there are no details about when this mode will arrive or even how far along in development it is, as well as what the other DLC contents are.
For now, Stellar Blade is a “complete” game in almost every sense of the word, launching in a very polished and technically sound state, with only the lack of a photo mode being its demerit in terms of features.
Stellar Blade is now available for PS5.
