The “Year of the Snake” Gameplay Trailer shows significant upgrades in visual quality designed to meet true next-generation standards. It will run smoothly on both the PS5 and PS5 Pro, the latter of which will support enhanced visuals.

The trailer and game have drawn inspiration from Hong Kong martial arts films of the 1980s and 1990s, as well as the traditional techniques and philosophies of Chinese martial arts.

The fight features a battle against the Seven Judgments, where one serves as the heart that the player must uncover to overcome the battle.

Towards the end of the trailer, a few weapons are also presented, which players can obtain in the game, such as the White Python, Red Viper, and more.

Phantom Blade Zero is scheduled for a 2025 release for PS5 and PC.
