Capcom has released a new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword, revealing the game’s protagonist.

The series is known for featuring prominent historical figures such as Samanosuke Akechi and Jubei Yagyu as its protagonists. This time, however, the story will center around a globally recognized legend: Miyamoto Musashi, voiced by Kenichiro Thomson.

Though Musashi has been depicted in various forms throughout history, Capcom is sure to give its unique interpretation of this iconic swordsman.

To enhance the portrayal of this striking samurai, Capcom has turned to the late, legendary Japanese actor, Toshiro Mifune, as the face model for their version of Miyamoto Musashi.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword is coming to PS5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam in 2026.
