Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX Streaming Exclusively on Prime Video in April

A historic collaboration between Studio khara and SUNRISE, with an all-star creative team including Kazuya Tsurumaki, Yoji Enokido, Hideaki Anno, Take, and Ikuto Yamashita, marks a new era in the legendary Gundam franchise.

Prime Video has announced that Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX (Jīkuakusu) will be available on the streaming service on April 8 (April 9 12AM PST / 1AM JST).

The highly anticipated anime series is the latest installment in the legendary Gundam series and will stream simultaneously with Japan across more than 240 countries and territories worldwide.

The series revolves around Amate Yuzuriha, a high school girl living in a space colony who meets Nyaan, a war refugee, and gets involved in the illegal mobile suit dueling competition ‘Clan Battle.’ Under the name ‘MACHU,’ Amate pilots a GQuuuuuuX in fierce battles daily. Meanwhile, an unidentified Mobile Suit, ‘Gundam,’ pursued by the space army and police, and its pilot, Shuuji, appear, signaling the dawn of a new era.

Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX represents a historic collaboration between Studio khara, renowned for the Evangelion series, and SUNRISE, the legendary studio behind the Gundam franchise. The series brings together an all-star creative team, including director Kazuya Tsurumaki, writers Yoji Enokido and Hideaki Anno (Evangelion series), with character designs by Take (Pokémon Journeys) and mechanical designs by Ikuto Yamashita.
