Capcom has announced that the first free title update for Monster Hunter Wilds will be released on April 4, 2025.

The title update will include the addition of Mizutsune, the Grand Hub Area, Arena Quests, and Zoh Shia. Further along in the update, players will face off against Arch-tempered Rey Dau, enjoy the Festival of Accord: Blossomdance, and other features like a new Capcom collaboration.

Monster Hunter Wilds Free Title Update 1 Overview

Here’s an overview of the first free title update for Monster Hunter Wilds:

• Mizutsune Hunt: The Bubble Fox Wyvern returns on April 4. Unlock at Hunter Rank 21 and prepare for graceful yet immobilizing attacks.
• Arch-tempered Rey Dau: Debuts in Event Quest at Hunter Rank 50, offering increased difficulty and the Rey Dau Gamma armor set reward.
• Zoh Shia Hunts: Hunter Rank 50 mission leads to additional encounters in Wyveria to gather monster parts for equipment.
• Event Quests: Includes Arena, Challenge, and Free Challenge Quests for solo/cross-platform multiplayer with leaderboard rewards.
• Grand Hub Area: A new gathering space featuring seasonal festivals, minigames, traditions, and global leaderboard displays for quests.
• Festival of Accord: From April 22 to May 6, this seasonal event offers themed meals, limited-time rewards, and reintroduced Event Quests.
• Cosmetic DLCs: Free gestures return with new outfits for Alma, Camp Gear options, and endemic life catalog updates.

Additionally, Capcom teased the return of Lagiacrus for Title Update 2, which is planned for Summer 2025.
