Arc System Works unveiled the fifth and final team for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls: the Samurai Outriders. Ghost Rider, previously announced, is now joined by Blade, Loki, and Deadpool to form this unpredictable squad of antiheroes.

Unlike the Midnight Sons, the Samurai Outriders are a darker, chaotic group whose journey toward unity unfolds in the game’s Episode Mode.

New Stage: Asgard

Players will battle across Asgard, the Realm of the Gods, featuring five distinct areas: the Observatory, Bifrost Bridge, Throne Room, Treasure Vault, and Yggdrasil. This stage blends Marvel’s signature mix of magic, science, and mythology, offering a visually striking arena for combat.

Character Highlights

• Blade: Trained in Japan, wielding the demon‑slaying sword Muramasa. His aggressive style includes unique abilities like Heartstopper, pinning foes for devastating follow‑ups.
• Loki: The God of Mischief uses illusions, feints, and ice‑based projectiles to confuse opponents. His deceptive style punishes predictable play.
• Deadpool: Armed with guns, grenades, and swords, plus fourth‑wall‑breaking moves inspired by classic fighting games. His healing factor enables reckless, crowd‑pleasing attacks.

Marvel Tokon Open Beta Details

With launch fast approaching, Arc System Works confirmed a global Open Beta from July 24–26, 2026 on PS5 and PC. Blade will be playable during this test, giving fans an early chance to experience his mechanics.
