SEGA has officially announced that Metaphor: ReFantazio, ATLUS Studio Zero’s award‑winning fantasy RPG, will launch on Nintendo Switch 2 on November 12, 2026, arriving at a lower price compared to previous versions.

A Critically Acclaimed RPG Reborn on a New Platform

Originally released in October 2024, Metaphor: ReFantazio quickly became one of ATLUS’s most celebrated titles. The game won three awards at The Game Awards 2024, including Best RPG, and received the Grand Award at the Japan Game Awards 2025.

The PlayStation 5 version also earned a Metascore of 94, placing it among the highest‑rated RPGs worldwide. The Switch 2 release is the perfect entry point for newcomers, offering the full experience at a more accessible price.
