The recently concluded Nintendo Direct delivered yet another round of surprises, because of course it did. True to form, Nintendo dropped announcement after announcement, including several reveals that fans have been waiting years to see.

The biggest headline of the Nintendo Direct was the full remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which instantly stole the spotlight. Nintendo didn’t stop there: the showcase also unveiled major first‑party titles such as Xenoblade Genesis, the newest chapter in the long‑running saga, and Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave, launching on September 17.

Beyond Nintendo’s own lineup, fans also got a brief but exciting tease of Kingdom Hearts IV. While details remain under wraps, one thing is confirmed: it’s coming to Nintendo Switch 2 at launch, whenever that may be.
