SEGA and RGG Studio have officially announced that STRANGER THAN HEAVEN, the studio’s newest action‑adventure title, will launch on January 15, 2027.

The game will be available on Xbox Game Pass, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox on PC, Xbox Cloud Gaming, Steam, and PlayStation 5, with pre‑orders now open across all platforms.

Stranger Than Heaven Star‑Studded Cast

Several major names have joined the cast of STRANGER THAN HEAVEN, each taking on a “larger‑than‑life role.”

Confirmed new cast members include:

• Tupac Shakur
• Takashi Ukaji
• Yasukaze Motomiya
• Takaya Kuroda
• Kouhei Tsuji (Nippon no Shachou)

One of the biggest highlights is the appearance of the late rapper and actor Tupac Shakur. RGG Studio emphasizes that his portrayal is being handled with “the utmost respect,” created in CG from archival footage and photographs, without AI, in collaboration with Amaru Entertainment.

Pre‑Order Bonuses: Get the Dosu: Kagekiri Weapon

Players who pre‑order the game will receive Dosu: Kagekiri, an exclusive DLC weapon. SEGA notes that availability may vary by retailer and that the item unlocks as players progress through the game.
