Publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay have confirmed that Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, the highly anticipated sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, has been delayed from its planned 2026 release window to 2027.

The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.

Igarashiโ€™s Message and Update for Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement

In a video update, producer Koji Igarashi explained: โ€œWe have made the decision to move the gameโ€™s release to the year 2027. Currently, the development of the game has entered its final stages. Weโ€™ve included several recent screenshots in the blog post, and we hope to share gameplay footage soon.โ€

He acknowledged the disappointment this may cause but reassured fans: โ€œEveryone on the development team is working hard to make the game the best it can be. We truly appreciate your continued support.โ€
