Publisher 505 Games and developer ArtPlay have confirmed that Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement, the highly anticipated sequel to Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, has been delayed from its planned 2026 release window to 2027.
The game will be available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.




Igarashiโs Message and Update for Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement
In a video update, producer Koji Igarashi explained: โWe have made the decision to move the gameโs release to the year 2027. Currently, the development of the game has entered its final stages. Weโve included several recent screenshots in the blog post, and we hope to share gameplay footage soon.โ
He acknowledged the disappointment this may cause but reassured fans: โEveryone on the development team is working hard to make the game the best it can be. We truly appreciate your continued support.โ
