SEGA and ATLUS have revealed a new trailer for Persona 4 Revival, which is launching on February 18, 2027 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The trailer highlights Baton Pass, Prime Time, Send Flying combat, expanded voice acting, and remixed soundtracks.
Persona 4 Revival – Fully Voiced Social Links
One of the biggest upgrades in Persona 4 Revival is the addition of fully voiced cutscenes and Social Link events. Narrated by Paul Castro Jr. (voice of Yosuke Hanamura), the trailer confirms that Atlus has expanded the amount of voiced material compared to previous versions, giving Inabaโs daily life more personality and immersion.
Combat Evolution
Combat gets a major overhaul with three new mechanics:
- Send Flying: Attacking a Shadow afflicted with a status ailment can knock it into another enemy, spreading damage and the ailment.
- Baton Pass: After earning a One More, players can pass their turn to another party member to chain weaknesses and extend combos.
- Prime Time: Filling the Prime Time meter unlocks a sequence of consecutive actions where skills cost no SP, resistances are ignored, and Baton Pass is unlimited. The sequence ends with a devastating finishing move.
Soundtrack & Atmosphere
Composer Ryota Kozuka contributes new tracks alongside remixed classics, while Shihoko Hirata returns to provide vocals. Combined with fully 3D environments, reworked dungeons, and expanded social interactions, Persona 4 Revival aims to deliver a definitive reimagining of the beloved RPG.
