Pokemon announced Pokemon: Wild Card, a brand-new feature-length animated film releasing in 2027. The story follows an aspiring Pokemon TCG player and their partner Mimikyu, produced in collaboration with STORY inc. and CloverWorks, one of Japan’s top animation studios.
Pokemon Tales: The Misadventures of Sirfetch’d & Pichu Coming to Disney+
Aardman, the acclaimed studio behind Shaun the Sheep and Wallace & Gromit, is creating a new stop‑motion comedy series set in the Galar region. The series will debut exclusively on Disney+ in 2027, with fans treated to a world‑premiere trailer during the event’s behind‑the‑scenes panel.
Z Mega Evolutions Arrive in Pokemon Champions
Starting September 9, 2026, Z Mega Evolution Pokemon will debut in Pokemon Champions, including Mega Lucario Z, Mega Garchomp Z, Mega Absol Z, plus appearances from Baxcalibur, Rillaboom, and future updates featuring Heatran.
