God of War Ragnarok has Received a Rating in Korea
God of War Ragnarok has no announced release date just yet, but all communications coming from Sony have been adamant in pointing out that it is coming in 2022. Based on recent development, that just might be the case.
As spotted by a ResetEra member, the highly-anticipated title from Santa Monica Studios has just been rated in Korea. Based on the information on the rating page, the request was filed on May 18 and was approved on May 26. The rating warns of profanity and excessive vulgarity, which will result in an appropriate “not for youth” classification.

Another sighting by The_Marmolade says that the upcoming title might release sometime in September. A UK retail store called Geeky Zone has a number of God of War Ragnarok merchandise that’s up for pre-order, which ends about 120+ days from now. This is no indication by any means, but it does add up a bit.
Of course, while there is no official confirmation yet from Sony or Santa Monica Studios, we would still suggest taking this information with caution until an official announcement is made. Release dates are very hard to pin down in this day and age of the pandemic so we’ll have to wait and see what happens next.
