Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Reportedly Delayed to Later This Year

Following the recent gameplay showcase during the PlayStation State of Play, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League has reportedly been delayed to an unspecified release date later this year.

A Bloomberg report from Jason Schreier says that the game has been delayed from its initial May 2023 release date, according to a source with direct knowledge of the matter, but the delay isn’t necessarily because of the backlash that the showcase received.

Schreier continued to say that while the game received massive critique due to live-service elements and always online gameplay even in single-player, this delay to Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is likely for polish purposes and “not to overhaul the core gameplay” caused by the backlash.

It should be noted that this delay has not officially been announced by WB Games nor by Rocksteady yet, but this isn’t the first time that the game has been delayed.
