Anime fans in the Philippines will be pleased to know that one of the all-time classic anime series, Slam Dunk, is now on Netflix.

Subscribers will be treated to 101 episodes of pure basketball bliss spread out over 8 seasons. It follows Hanamichi Sakuragi, the brash basketball genius, as he teams up with the rest of the Shohoku squad as they take the fight to some of the strongest teams in the area like Shoyo, Ryonan, and Kainan.

The highly acclaimed anime and manga series is seeing renewed interest thanks to the recent movie, The First Slam Dunk, which premiered in local cinemas in the Philippines back on February 1, 2023.
