HoYoverse has officially announced Honkai Nexus Anima, a new creature-collecting adventure strategy game that blends immersive storytelling with tactical gameplay.

Alongside the reveal, players are also invited to participate in its first closed beta, the Nexus Bond Test, which is now open for registration on PC and iOS until September 12.

Honkai Nexus Anima Details

First teased during the Honkai: Star Rail anniversary concert in May 2025, Honkai Nexus Anima invites players to explore a fractured world where abstract concepts like Love and Hate, Light and Dark, have been severed, leaving behind powerful remnants known as Anima.

Players take on the role of a plane-hopping traveler who escapes captivity and begins their journey in a peaceful town that opens into vast, uncharted realms. As they progress, they’ll forge bonds with Anima companions, each embodying unique traits and abilities. These companions aid in exploration and fight alongside players in Nexus Battles.

Closed Beta Details: Nexus Bond Test

The Nexus Bond Test is a closed beta with a full data wipe, available on PC and iOS. Selected players who pre-register and complete the questionnaire will gain access and can look forward to a first look at the game’s overworld, combat mechanics, and companion system.
