Sucker Punch and Sony have announced that Ghost of Yotei will receive a free New Game Plus update on November 24, 2025.

This update will bring new challenges, cosmetics, and accessibility features to the game.

Replay Ghost of Yotei With New Game Plus

Players who have completed the main story will unlock New Game Plus, allowing them to replay Atsu’s quest for vengeance with all previously earned armors, abilities, and weapons available from the start. The mode also introduces:

• Harder difficulty options
• Two new Trophies
• A new currency called Ghost Flowers, exchangeable for over 30 cosmetics, including armor sets, weapon dyes, and charms

Expanded Features Beyond New Game Plus

The free update will also add:

• Post-game replayable content with a new stats display
• Accessibility improvements, including directional button remapping
• Photo Mode upgrades such as shutter speed control, composition grids, and new filters
