Gran Turismo 7 Plays Host to Xiaomi SU7 Ultra Landmark Debut

Xiaomi has officially announced that the SU7 Ultra, its high-performance luxury EV, will make its debut in Gran Turismo 7 starting January 29, 2026, as part of the game’s Update 1.67 patch. This marks Xiaomi’s first-ever entry into the legendary racing simulation franchise.

Players on PS4 and PS5 will now be able to test the limits of the SU7 Ultra on Gran Turismo’s hyper-realistic tracks, further cementing the car’s reputation as a record-breaking machine.

Record-Breaking Performance

The Xiaomi SU7 Ultra is powered by the in-house Dual V8s + V6s Xiaomi Hyper Tri-Motor system, delivering a staggering 1,548 horsepower and achieving 0–100 km/h in just 1.98 seconds.

The production version previously set a lap time of 7:04.957 at the Nürburgring Nordschleife, breaking the record for electric executive vehicles. To celebrate its in-game launch, Polyphony Digital will host a two-week official lap-time challenge on the historic Monza circuit.

Collaboration with Gran Turismo 7 and Polyphony Digital

Gran Turismo producer Kazunori Yamauchi personally test-drove the SU7 Ultra at multiple locations, including Beijing, Nürburgring Nordschleife, and Tsukuba Circuit, ensuring the car’s authenticity in-game. Xiaomi’s EV performance team also worked closely with Polyphony Digital in Fukuoka to validate the driving experience.
