2K has officially announced WWE 2K26, launching March 6, 2026, for PS5, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.

The Standard Edition features CM Punk, the current World Heavyweight Champion, striking a defiant pose as he headlines the game’s 2K Showcase: Punked, a personal journey through his most iconic matches and controversies.

Punk joins a select group of WWE Superstars who have graced the cover twice, previously appearing on WWE ’13. His Showcase mode lets players relive his rise, rebellion, and return, narrated by “The Best in the World” himself.

New Match Types and Gameplay Upgrades

WWE 2K26 introduces four new match types:

• I Quit Match
• Inferno Match
• Three Stages of Hell
• Dumpster Match

Players can now use stackable tables, shopping carts, thumbtacks, and explore larger interactive environments. Intergender matches are available across core modes, while revamped stamina and reversal systems add fresh layers of strategy.

The Biggest Roster in WWE 2K History

With over 400 playable characters, WWE 2K26 boasts the largest roster ever, from current stars like Roman Reigns, Rhea Ripley, and Cody Rhodes to legends including The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, and Bret Hart.

New additions include Rey Fénix, Rusev, and Blake Monroe, along with returning fan favorites such as Eddie Guerrero and John Cena.

Expanded Creation Suite and Game Modes

The Creation Suite doubles its capacity with 200 Create-A-Superstar slots and 2,000 image slots, plus advanced morphing tools and hair color blending.

Other highlights include:

• MyGM: More shows, bigger matches, and intergender options.
• MyRISE: Two new division-based storylines with increased replay value.
• Universe Mode: WWE Draft integration and improved promos.
• The Island: A revamped social hub with faction battles, quests, and Superstar voiceovers.
