Pearlescent Gear Update

Alongside the DLC, a major update introduces Pearlescent gear, a new rarity tier that surpasses Legendaries in power. This gear is available to all players, regardless of edition, making it one of the most exciting additions to the Borderlands loot pool.

What’s Next: Story Pack in March

Fans won’t have to wait long for more content. The first Story Pack, Mad Ellie and the Vault of the Damned, launches in March 2026. It will introduce the new Kairos zone, multiple missions, heaps of cosmetics, and the first new playable Vault Hunter in Borderlands 4: C4SH.
