During the grand finals of VALORANT Masters Santiago, Riot Games unveiled Miks, the latest Controller agent joining the roster. Hailing from Croatia, Miks channels the power of sound to rally his squad and set the tempo on the battlefield.
His reveal cinematic features Clarity (VALORANT x BUNT. Remix), a reimagined version of Zedd’s hit track by DJ and producer BUNT.
A Sonic Identity
Miks embodies upbeat energy and a passion for music, with Riot’s design team building his abilities around sonic elements. According to Riot, his backstory is deeply tied to music, reinforcing his high-energy, social personality.
Jonny Altepeter, Riot’s Lead Music Supervisor, shared: “With Miks, we wanted to lean into his vibrant sonic identity and build something that matches his presence in-game.”
Miks’ Abilities
Miks’ kit blends tactical utility with sonic flair:
- Harmonize – Grants Combat Stim to allies, refreshing with each kill.
- M-pulse – Deploys sound waves that either concuss or heal players.
- Waveform – Smokes deployed via map targeting (PC and console variations).
- Bassquake – Unleashes Sonic Radiance, knocking back, deafening, and slowing enemies.
VALORANT Act 2 Content
Miks arrives on March 18, 2026, as part of Season 2026 // Act 2. Alongside his debut, Riot introduces the Blackthorn Collection and a new Battlepass featuring cosmetics like the Soulburst Bandit, Dragon Gate Phantom, and Flick of the Wrist Card.
