In a nutshell

  • The Spirit Weaver launches April 1 on Steam.

  • Narrative explores grief, healing, and empathy through Tarot-driven gameplay.

StarBullet Studio and GameChanger Studio have announced that The Spirit Weaver will officially launch on PC via Steam on April 1, 2026.

A Mystical Journey Through Tarot

In The Spirit Weaver, players step into the role of Alora, a Tarot reader summoned to confront a supernatural threat known as The Entropy. Alongside guiding lost spirits, Alora must also face her own past and lingering childhood guilt.

Gameplay centers on Tarot readings, where choices and interpretations shape character outcomes and determine the fate of the Spirit Realm. With multiple endings, players’ empathy and decisions will define Alora’s journey.

Developer Insights

“We wanted to make a game that many players, with all of their diverse human struggles, can relate to through its characters,” said Kezia Lawrence, Game Designer at StarBullet Studio. “We also want to introduce how Tarot can be used as a medium of self and mutual reflection and healing.”

The project began as a university game design course at the Bandung Institute of Technology in 2024, before evolving into a full release with industry support.

GameChanger Studio’s Role

Indonesian developer GameChanger Studio, known for the My Lovely trilogy and 1998: The Toll Keeper Story, is supporting The Spirit Weaver as its first publishing project. By backing a student-led concept, GameChanger aims to strengthen collaboration between academic talent and the wider games industry.
