Supergiant Games has announced that Hades II will release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Microsoft Store on April 14, 2026, with Day One availability on Xbox Game Pass.

This marks the full console debut of the studio’s first‑ever sequel, following its earlier Early Access launch on PC in May 2024 and full release on Switch and PC in September 2025.

Hades II – A Bigger, Darker Underworld

Building on the award‑winning roguelike formula of the original, Hades II casts players as the immortal Princess of the Underworld, battling the forces of the Titan of Time with Olympus at her side.

The sequel expands the mythic world with new locations, challenges, upgrade systems, and surprises, while weaving a story that unfolds through every setback and accomplishment.

Witchcraft, Gods, and Familiars

Players can infuse legendary weapons with ancient magick, gain powerful boons from Olympian gods like Apollo and Zeus, and tame witchy familiars to aid them in battle.

The game also introduces the Arcana Altar and Tools of the Unseen, adding new layers of strategy and progression.

Signature Supergiant Style

True to Supergiant’s reputation, Hades II features hand‑painted environments, fluid real‑time 3D characters, and an electrifying original score. The cast includes dozens of fully voiced gods, ghosts, and monsters, with new faces joining familiar ones from the original.
