Bandai Namco Entertainment Asia has announced that Captain Tsubasa 2: World Fighters will release on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox Series X|S on 27 August 2026, followed by a Steam release on 28 August 2026.

• Story Trailer — Set four years after the dramatic events of the first game, the Japan National Team led by Tsubasa Ozora faces new rivals in an original storyline packed with twists and turns.

• Special Interview with Yoichi Takahashi — The series creator reflects on the evolution of the franchise and highlights the thematic depth of the World Youth arc from the original manga.
