Grinding Gear Games has announced the latest expansion, Path of Exile: Curse of the Allflame, launching July 24 PDT.
Plan Lucrative Voyages
Guided by Corsair Captain Valerie and her cursed navigator, Vesper, players will chart a course aboard The Sovereign to uncover lost treasures and survive the horrors lurking beneath the waves.

Each expedition begins in the Bathysphere, an Allflame-powered vessel that descends into the ocean depths. Players must strategically deploy Allflame Lanterns to carve out temporary safe zones while battling sea creatures and harvesting Dead Man’s Sulphur, a vital resource for crafting and survival.
The new Voyage Board system lets players link expedition Charts to form interconnected journeys across the sea floor, combining modifiers for greater risk and reward.

New Allflame Features and Endgame Systems
Meanwhile, Allflame Crafting introduces ghostly item outcomes, allowing players to preview and select desired results, adding precision and tension to high-stakes crafting.

Hidden within the depths are Ancient Ducats, powerful relics granting unique item transformations, while the Mercenaries of Trarthus return as a permanent mechanic, complete with Atlas integration and the new Scion Ascendancy, Luminary.
Endgame systems also see major upgrades: Abyss encounters are faster and more rewarding, while Legion introduces Vestigial Unique Items and Enshrouding Crystals for advanced item fusion. Players can also explore Atlas Anomalies, standalone encounters offering unique rewards and lore.

Launching alongside the expansion are two new Supporter Pack series — The Plague and Remidus — featuring exclusive cosmetics inspired by corruption and purification, fully compatible with Path of Exile 2.
