Capcom has released the Prologue Demo for Monster Hunter Wilds, letting players experience the game from the opening through Chapter 1‑3 “To the Forest.”

The demo supports Offline Mode, full character creation, and access to all 14 weapon types. Importantly, save data carries over to the full version.

New Editions and Bundles

Alongside the demo, Capcom introduced new purchase options:

  • Monster Hunter Wilds Gold Edition ($79.99) – Full game + Cosmetic DLC Collection.
  • Cosmetic DLC Collection ($59.99) – Bundle of 10 cosmetic packs.
  • Extras Cosmetic Pack ($29.99) – Paid cosmetic items previously sold separately.

These replace the older Deluxe Edition, Premium Deluxe Edition, and DLC Pass bundles.

Future Content

Monster Hunter Wilds originally launched on February 28, 2025, with a Switch 2 version in development. A major expansion, Ascendance, is scheduled for 2027, promising new regions, monsters, and Master Rank content.
