The Duskbloods Delayed to 2027

The delay was confirmed by the studio, which stated that the additional development time will allow the team to further polish the experience and ensure the game meets its expectations before launch.

We have decided to allocate a period for final adjustments to the game rules and balance. This is in order to realize the concept of this title—enjoyable not only through direct combat but also through various maneuvers and diverse strategies—at an even higher level, based on the evaluations received from all users during the network test held in August, and to deliver an even better gaming experience. As a result, we will be changing the release date to 2027.

More Time for FromSoftware’s Next Major Release

Since its reveal, The Duskbloods has generated considerable excitement among fans of FromSoftware’s distinctive approach to action RPG design. While details about the game remain relatively limited, anticipation has continued to build thanks to the studio’s reputation following critically acclaimed titles such as Elden Ring, Bloodborne, and the Dark Souls series.

With the new release window now set for 2027, players can expect the development team to use the extra time to refine gameplay systems, world design, and overall polish ahead of launch.
