Dying Light 2 pushed back to February 2022
Delays are not surprising in this time of the pandemic and for Techland, wanting to keep transparent with the community, has made the tough decision to delay Dying Light 2: Stay Human to February 4, 2022 after initially settling for a December 2021 release date.
As announced by the devs over their social media channels, Dying Light 2 will need a little more time to “bring the game to the level we envisioned” and will be needing more time to polish and optimize the game.
Techland has pointed out that they are “steadily progressing” with the development of the game and are nearing the finish line, citing that the game is already complete and are currently playtesting it.
While this is disappointing for fans looking forward to more zombie action, Techland has promised that press and content creators will be able to try out early builds of the game so that they can share their experiences with the general public. There will also be news to be shared about the game later this month.
Dying Light 2 is now scheduled to launch on February 4, 2022 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series, and PC.
