Cyberpunk 2077 pushes all new updates to 2022
Following their recent announcement of pushing back the next-gen upgrades for Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3, CD Projekt Red has now updated its development roadmap to show that all other Cyberpunk 2077 updates will be pushed out to next year.
Players looking for more updates to the game this year will be disappointed to know that Patch 1.31, which was released back in September, will be the last update for this year, and all “updates, improvements, and free DLC’s” will happen in 2022, alongside the next-gen update.
You can see the updated roadmap below:
CD Projekt Red has released quite a number of updates after its disastrous Cyberpunk 2077 launch, which saw bugs and performance hitches across all platforms that even prompted a wave of refunds along with Sony removing it from the PS Store for a few months.
It seems that with this, CDPR have learned from past mistakes and will be taking their time to properly address the remaining issues in the game to bring it one step closer to the masterpiece it was meant to be.
