Genshin Impact Celebrates Dragonspine First Anniversary With A Real-Life Event In The Alps
miHoYo has unveiled details about its upcoming real-life event in the Alps to celebrate Dragonspine’s first anniversary, which dresses up Europe’s highest ski resort as a Genshin Impact locale.
In case you didn’t know, Dragonspine was inspired by the Alps and is a frozen mountain range that was added to Genshin Impact back in December 2020. miHoYo is going all out by theming the Val Thorens ski resort, which will kick off a series of web events that players can participate in, unlocking various rewards that will culminate in a grand Alps Waypoint Lighting Ceremony broadcast online in mid-January.
Genshin Impact “Enchanting Journey of Snow and Stars” Event Details
Since not everyone can visit the resort to take part in the festivities, players around the world can still join in on the grand celebration through the “Enchanting Journey of Snow and Stars” web event, which will run from December 29 until January 9, 2022.
- Participate in the web event (click on THIS LINK), select the region, an “Alps Illumination Representative,” and make your own illumination souvenir card. When the number of participants in the event hit three milestones of reaching 300,000, 600,000, and 1 million, three types of reward packs, including Goulash ×3, Mora ×20,000, and Primogems ×30 respectively will unlock in sequence as these milestones are reached (each reward pack is limited to 3 million in quantity, get them before they run out!).
- At the same time, we will draw lucky players’ souvenir cards and hang them on the top of the Alps!
Moreover, when the number of participants reaches 1 million, the official team will light up the Teleport Waypoint on the Alps in mid-January and present a wonderful live show for everyone!
Genshin Impact is now available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and Mobile Devices. The v2.4 update will launch on January 5, which will bring a new area to explore and new characters to pull for.
