After its initial announcement last year, Switch fans finally get official confirmation that Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment’s hit shooter, will be going portable on March 9 in time for Season 8.

As there may be doubts about its performance, fans need not worry because Panic Button will be the ones handling the port. If their work on Doom Eternal and Warframe are any indication, Apex Legends should run like a dream on the Switch.

This release will feature cross-play and the latest seasonal content in line with the other versions. Switch players will be given 30 free Season 8 battle pass levels as well due to the game launching a few weeks after the start of the season.
