Ubisoft has officially announced that Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the next game in the long-running series.

The company didn’t provide too many details apart from a fantastic piece of artwork from the game but promised that more information will be given during the Ubisoft Forward presentation on September 10.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage had been the subject of recent leaks, which corroborate reports made by Jason Schreier that spilled the beans on the upcoming game that will see the return of Basim and will be set in Baghdad.

The game is also said to be a return to the “basics,” which implies that the recent RPG elements introduced in games like Valhalla and Odyssey will take a backseat to the more stealth-oriented approach from the previous games.

In any case, we won’t have to wait too long to find out more about the game.

Are you looking forward to this new Assassin’s Creed title?
