Blizzcon is back with a fully virtual event entitled BlizzConline, scheduled for February 2021

Blizzard has announced BlizzConline, the fully virtual event counterpart to their annual convention, scheduled for February 19 and 20, 2021.

After announcing its cancellation back in May and assuring fans of a digital event early next year, Blizzard is going full digital this time around due to the prevailing conditions around the world.

As part of the festivities, BlizzConline will be highlighting the Community Showcase, which is an opportunity for fans to take part in activities like an art contest, digital story telling contest, and even the yearly tradition of the March of the Murlochs. All of which, of course, have new guidelines and regulations that follow proper safety protocols.

There will also be a Cosplay exhibition and upon opening this up to the online public, it really gives everyone a chance to take part in it, especially for those who are unable to participate due to the convention being held overseas. Entry deadline is on January 4, 2021 and the full set of rules can be seen here.
